Delivered Discord - Hide certain game related channels

The below list of channels are visible even if you do not have the role associated with that game.

#gta-logs
#overwatch-announcements
#rust-rewards
#squad-announcements

My suggestion is to update the permissions to hide the above channels except to the roles associated to that specific game.
This will reduce clutter and allow people to find the channels they are most interested in more easily.

i understand the over watch and squad thing because i guess we’re trying to get it out to people more and trying to grow that platform but I’m not really much interested in seeing those tbh.
i think if there is a way, it’d definitely be nice if we could hide gta and rust i don wanna see that LOL

For the announcements, they just need to be locked except for the roles of the game.
The Rust rewards can also be only unlocked for the rust role

And for gta logs, it would need a new role like how rust has "RU Chat Admin"

i don’t have the rust role doe and still see the channel is the thing

Mute the channel, then hide muted channels. Good temp solution.

I know #rust-rewards is intended. They want that visible to everyone for some reason. I think overwatch and squad are simply just permissions that need fixed, but not intended. Simon brings up REALLY good advice too. Extra steps on the user but valid.

Deerfat is right about GTA Logs, you cant have multi role requirements for discord. As for rust rewards I believe arby said that he wanted everyone seeing it for people who have issues with discord can still have it. Squad/OW im not sure.

Delivered, people can select which games they can be pinged for, and which games they want to be notified about. If not a user can simply mute a channel.
