Hey guys, me again.
I would like to see bank robberies not done with pistols you can get from ammunation.
Why? This allows people to hop into the city, get a pistol and start a bank robbery almost instantly without actually having to RP.
The only thing you currently need is a pistol, two people and a hostage.
What I would like to see? Simple! I would like to see bank robberies done with class 2 weapons (automatic weapons)
Example and reasoning.
Me and a friend show up to a bank, we each have pistols and there is one hostage.
Police breach and kill us because we are completely out matched with firepower and cannot kill the hostage before we are dispatched by the PD ARs.
Example of robbery with class two weapon.
Me and a friend show up to a bank, we each have a mini uzi.
Bank robbery goes like normal because the people robbing the bank pose as a significant threat to the general population.
Reasoning.
Currently to get a pistol you just need a drivers license and 2500 dollars for the gun license. This does not promote RP for new players who may want to become criminals and allows them free reign to do one of the riskier things criminals do within 20 mins of entering the server. Not allowing people (not a warn, kick or ban, mostly just the PD will kick your ass) to use pistols for bank robberies will force people to the underground gun market, into drugs to get dirty money to buy weapons or teaming up with a crew with a lot of firepower. This makes bank robberies more of an end game criminal activity instead of a super simple, quick and easy thing to do.
This is something PD would have to be on board with and could actually be something for the SWAT division to use their training for.
