Melee server

why doesn't eGO create an all melee 2Fort server and block spies and engies so there would be no backstabs and sentrys i think it would be uber fun just a suggestion

I told you in game that this has been discussed before. From what I can remember, the official word is that the server will not stay full.
I specifically told you several times in game that it will not be happening and I said that you shouldn't post this because it will just be locked.

Edit: Also, this is used in some of our clan events, and I mentioned that too in game.

Right, its just im sure there are lots of ppl out there that love to melee, like me, and i think there would be some people on it it doesnt need to be a large server it could be 18 man etc or have more of these events or have like 1 day evry 2 weeks or something cos you did see the amount of people that were using melee, didnt you?

Edit: you could do a poll to see if ppl would like a melee server, see the gamers replies

Meleeing in a regular game is more fun for me than in a melee match. Batting a heavy to death while dodging him minigun is so rewarding and loads of fun. It would not be a dedicated melee server, because as RedFlag said, it would not stay full.

I agree with woodstock, melee in normal game is fun...but yeah...it would not hold people's interest. I've been on a melee only server before, it's fun...for maybe 30 mins.

There will be no such server.

No need for a poll. Servers with 'special' rule sets excludes too many potential players, they are difficult to keep full and difficult to police. Redflag, for all his usual fail, had it right. The next time someone tells you the matter has been discussed and dismissed, please listen.
