What an awful film.

1 ending of the film could be guessed in the first quarter of the show
2 why the hell do greeks have scottish accents
3 lots of effects does not make a movie great
4 its like watching an army full of jocks
5 the persian king reminds me of dahlsim from street fighter and i hated him
6 The whole movie is wildy exaggerated compared to the hisorical events
7 It is a greek version of Braveheart

I could go on all day....

in response to jimbo. its a movie about a true event so the ending had to be the way it was or else it wouldnt have worked. and all the effects are because its supposed to be like a graphic novel since it was made by the same people that did sin city. but i do like how you pointed out that Xerxes looks like Dahlsim, good call.

Yeah basically you can predict most movies at the start. You didnt have to watch all 3 lord of the rings movies to know that they were gonna make it to mount doom or whatever. Most movies are good guys vs bad guys and good guys usually always win.

Noxus had a good point, it was a story from history. Had to be correct.guess you dont enjoy historically correct movies.

It wasn't created to be historical at all. It was just a faithful representation of a graphic novel by the same guy that did Sin City and similar to many graphic novels that Heavy Metal Magazine puts out.

If you wanted it to be completely historially correct, you can always watch that documentary they made on the history channel. However, the re-enactments are atrocious.
