Tested this: I wouldn't say it necessarily "duplicates" the gun, however, if you are holding the gun and drop it, it remains in your hands. So you could theoretically take out a gun, drop it somewhere, then go run around shooting and when you run out of bullets, the gun will disappear as if you never had a firearm to begin with. (You would still have GSR on you)

Hopefully this is a minor issue that can be fixed relatively easily.
