Delivered GTA V FiveM - Whitelisted - Wipe Criminal Records with the upcoming Friday Econ wipe

Let me start by saying NO this is not due to anything IC pertaining to my character.

It has come to my attention that a lot of people haven't been logging on for a specific reason, currently we can carry our stories and RP straight through the wipe, but the economy and assets we earn will be reset. Now this looks good on paper, however it creates a problem for crimes committed amongst RP.

Basically the crimes we commit, USUALLY are for financial gain. It feels unfair to then take that financial gain but retain the criminal record that was really only there preceding the wipe BECAUSE of an intent to gain finances illicitly. These people will in turn be starting out in the new and final economy with a hand trapped in the door because of these records. Cops will already be on the lookout for them, the heat will already be on them.

My suggestion is that along with the economy wipe, criminal records are wiped and negative interactions with the police. HOWEVER, our interactions with other people, our stories built with them remain as originally intended with the wipe.

I think a Criminal record and negative police interaction wipe would be beneficial to everyone in the server.

Telling police their roleplay will be eliminated while maintaining everyone else’s certainly feels unfair.

Telling the criminals their records will remain while the benefits/reasons behind those records will be wiped for the sake of the police's RP also seems unfair. It's a no win situation. But the criminals retaining their records will suffer moving forward, the cops won't suffer in the same way for 3 days. The cops will simply RP being cops for 3 days and then rebuild a record database after the wipe. I think it's a fair trade off to everyone.

In the current standing, crims get screwed moving into wipe, everyone else gets a fresh start.

To be clear, when I said wipe the negative interactions with the cops, I was referring to the interactions regarding the arrests that created those reports, not interactions in general.

There's been next to no records built due to the fact that we just landed on a new MDT system a week ago. If you're concerned over your record, file for expungement. Forcing an entire section of the playerbase to forget roleplay over the last, what, three weeks seems absolutely uh weirdchamp.

my question is why does it matter if criminals have a criminal record?, are they planning to go completely legal when the server finally releases? that character they did crime on is now there criminal, if they want a legal character with a clean record personally if I was in their shoes I would make another character. because the question is, are you really not gonna have a crim?

I've spoken my view on it really. It doesn't affect me personally, I'm good either way. This was more so an opportunity to voice for those not logging in/not logging in as often due to fear of criminal records without the gain. If those people aren't concerned about it, welp, not much to be said.

Because Leadership decided with the delay in whitelisting and economic wipe, that memories would persist so people could atleast focus on their stories and not losing all their hardwork on the grind. (To promote people playing during the testing phase)

You can contact LE to have that expunged I believe. ALthough you shouldn't have a record from before they announced this seeing as we switched from CAD to MDT to wipe MDT I think
