I think there should be a way to Privat emessage people.


It is convenient, Allows for more 1 ON 1 conversations, without using platforms like discord, which Some people CANNOT run. ( Yea Ik, People have bad pcs)

The admins would be able to toggle on and off the ability to see these, So of an admin wants to see what people are pming to eachother, as to remove any inappropriate or racial slurs. They would use /spy or something like that.

Other players can also toggle the ability for people to message them.

This would help with more 1-1 conversations, Easier rebels, And just more fun for people.
It'd give people lots of laughs, And be funny.

To use this you would do /PM (person's name) Hi! or Bad rebel lol.


Edit: also if a person reports someone for messaging them something weird/agaisnt the rules, Admins can check the logs if they had /spy off.

Why not just use Steam chat? There's enough text flying around the screen ingame as-is most of the time without tying it up with random PMs.

Steam messages? Forum? Teamspeak? There are so many places to message somebody, no reason to make an admin command available to all players for a reason like that.

Yeah, this is a -1 from me, we don't need a way in game when there are countless ways to do it with better platforms, most while in game as well. Also, how would they be moderated? What's the point in a private chat if we admins can read it? I could see many people using this as an unsolicited way to harass people and break the rules,

Trust me, I'm one who's strongly against using techs workload as an excuse, but this would absolutely be a waste of their time when there are countless other platforms u could use, and where those platforms don't cover what ur asking, team chat does.

Another thing to moderate? Anyone can use messages outside the game, like Steam already.

This is true gangs has a gang only chat, so if you wana Privately message friends in the server just make a gang and invite them to it. After that it's just a period before your message and ba da bam. Even then, team chat is more than enough to coordinate rebelling, and if I wana PM someone I just use steam. Super easy to do. -1 from me as well.
