Whats up,
So basically I bought a new CPU (https://www.cdiscount.com/informati...684i59600k/f-10764-int5032037140164.html#pres)
It's in French cause im' french lol

So my CPU is an I5 Intel Core i5 9600K (BX80684I59600K) - 6 hearts - 3,7/4,6 GHz
And I would like to add this on my MSI Z370 GAMING PLUS (https://www.topachat.com/pages/deta...ue_est_w_cm_1151_puis_ref_est_in10107228.html)

I did add this CPU in my PC, did all needed in a good way! I started my PC and then a message popped up in a dark background saying "NEW MEMORY OR CPU" and it asked if : I wanted to custom or use the basic way to set up my new CPU (sorry I dont remember very well this part :/).
And so I chose the custom way (idk why) and it led me to the BIOS. Then I didnt change anything because everything was good and so I left the BIOS. It restarted my PC and it froze during the MSI loading screen (Maybe the BIOS or the CPU screen). I tried to see if it was just a minor problem but it was automatically frozing everytime....

So i'm really confused according that this CPU should be working with my Mother Card... And if it was not the case, my PC should not be working right?
Maybe I should have to choose the basic method, the basic way to set on my new CPU but idk, i'm just really bored...
If someone can help me or tell me if those 2 things can both work together? :)

I am unable to access the first site. It says I do not have access.

Some times when you upgrade your CPU, you may have to update your BIOS. I had this issue with my previous upgrade and flashing my BIOS fixed it.

If it doesn’t work, post here again and we’ll try to fix it.

Try to get into the bios or clear the CMOS, if you can get into the bios search for a setting called "set to uefi/bios defaults". Clearing the CMOS is just the matter of bridging to pins on the motherboard. You should include your motherboard so I can direct you.

If the bios update doesnt work

Glad you were able to get it fixed and are now up and running with your new CPU. Enjoy. :)

Post here again if you run into future tech problems you can't seem to solve!
