Existing Feature Create an official eGO mapping squad

So as the title says I think it would be beneficial to have an official eGO mapping squad. In my previous community we had a mapping squad where you'd get a little badge on the forums which was whatever but the great part was the mapping squad discord. We could have all the people who map or are interested in becoming better at mapping in one place and you can have help-channels where people who are running into issues can ask for advice or help on certain things and get responses back from more experienced players who may have ran into the same problem before. Could also be nice for bouncing around ideas of new maps and seeing what others think. I know we have the server specialists but thats more for server related issues or suggestions rather than specifically for mapping unless we were to make mapping a specialist category which could also work. Curious what others thoughts on this are so please let me know

I believe that we do have a mapping team, although I'm not sure if that's what you mean. You can check out the application thread here.

Yeah i didnt see that my bad, the "what is a mapper" section seems like just editing and fixing other peoples maps but the "Eligibility" section is pretty close to what im saying. Would be nice to have a place for mappers to talk with other mappers and get help/opinions whether they're new or experienced so i assume thats what it is.

Many people in the mapping team have made maps for eGO, especially Lord.Death. (forgot the map name), thorgot (jb_arcade, jb_quake, etc), and mouse pouch (jb_america, that other map that I can't remember the name of with the pusher game), in case that's what you're worried about. Perhaps the "What is a mapper" section needs updating, you can probably bring it up with the Mapping Team lead (Bowl of Water).

Ye there's a private Discord for people in the eGO mapping team

There's also a bunch of public Discords out there to chat n stuff for help/ops
