Not Planned Replace minigames server with Zombie escape server

So i have suggested a zombie escape before like a few years back, and after seeing and hearing that minigames server is quite dead, why not replace it with something new and a bit more fun such as a zombie escape server.

what is zombie escape server?

its a gamemode where you are survivors that have to run through a big map too get to the end and win, while the zombies tries to kill you and turn you into them.

Why do i think it would be great?

zombie escape is dead in most communities as i dont see them played very often, so for an instance why not make it and get it alive again, as these server were really popular back in the day and was really fun game, and since we are one of the biggest communities we could get such server alive and have some fun...

I recall this idea being brough up multiple times. I belive the issue is that every time there is a major CS update, it will completly mess up the server and its a pain to fix. I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure that was one of the major issues with it.

Honestly ZE slaps and I would not be opposed to switching up Minigames for it. As much as I love Minigames, it rarely sees double digit players.

Great idea ! I really love the mg server but as Lucas said, the server is dead af… The thing that need to be clear is if it’s possible to set up and if it’s not too hard to manage after that. But it would be definitely a great idea and a cool change ! Zombie escape is really fun and I’m pretty sure that the eGO members could create the biggest and greatest ZE server really fast

Like CT said, this idea was brought up before. I remember testing the plugin for ZE and it was a pain in the ass to work with. Caused many issues and updates broke everything and required extensive work to repair them.

Zombie Escape would be awesome and is a great idea, but reading the replies it appears as it's not a practical option. It's a great suggestion though. I have a different idea, but I don't want to highjack your post so I'll post elsewhere.

There may or may not be talks about a new server being introduced. Just gotta wait and see!

While a zombie Server itself is not planned atm we do have the events team working on the plugin to host a possible zombie escape event in the near future. keep an eye out for events.
