April 8th 2023 Stress Test Event

BattleBit Remastered’s developers announced that they will be holding a Stress Playtest for the game. For those not familiar with the term, online games usually do stress tests to see if their servers can handle a huge amount of players playing at the same time. For this game, the latest Stress playtest will happen on Saturday, April 8, 2023, from 6:30 AM to 12:30 AM PDT. While this might not seem like a lot of time, this is actually the norm for this game. Instead of the usual approach of holding long periods of playtesting, they instead prefer short bursts, which lets them improve the game and fix any issues in between tests.

I just requested access and received it immediately, so odds are they're handing out access to anyone willing to give it a spin. This will be my first time trying the game out. Given the concurrent players of the stress tests, among other metrics, it remains to be seen how long until the end product will turn out. Hopefully it brings back some Ace of Spades energy.

On a long-term note... There may be a method to elevate our support for a game from "non-existent" to somewhere less than "directly and fully supported" in a clean manner, as there was in the past teams built around this spin-off concept. Perhaps this game may find itself in such a happy medium given the right circumstances.

hell yeah i always play the stress test i enjoy it, when the game is out out and not more stress test i was planning doing some sort of pug where we all that wanna play join a server and just enjoy it

I played on the april 1st stress test for the first time, and i gotta say it was hella fun.
The proximity voice chat really gives it flavour. 127v127 is by far the most chaotic one for sure and for me the most fun mode.
