after the DOD update my computer lags

my game has been laggy after the update of DOD i will not be playing any more if this cant be resovled so PLEASE HELP
my comp info:

Not to keen on the details but the graphics of DODS on patch got revamped...... I would cheek to make sure you have the new direct X 9 installed..... Also wat graphics card are you running.... Might have to update the drivers or get a whole new card for you computer.....

Also trying running the game on the lowest settings as possible.... droping the resoltions to 800/600 or even lower if taht did not help

me too man! T.T so laggy now. i cant really do anything if theres like 3 or more windows/programs open. dod servers dont show up for me now either so im just gonna wait. ima remove dod til i get a better computer or someone replies to my thread with an answer T.T
