Not Planned DS Vote Mute/Gag

I'm offering a suggestion for DS on TTT to receive the ability to vote mute or vote gag for 3 minutes.

It works in cases where players don't necessarily need to be kicked or banned.

This kind of thing should likely be changed across the board if implemented.

On one hand, I can see hoW this could be useful, on the other hand, if this needs to be done, it'd be better to get an admin online to help keep the peace.

That, and how long would they last? Nobody is meant to stay muted or gagged, otherwise they should just be handled per our admin policies.

Thanks for the suggestion but as much as I am a supporter of having more DS perks overall, I don't think this one is the play.

This has been discussed and suggested multiple times already. DS votekick and voteban commands are to be used in extreme disruptive circumstances only (e.g. Racism, Blatant Cheating, Mass RDM/Freekill, etc), they are not to be used for general offences that an admin may handle. Anything that does not fall under the "excessively disruptive"/"extreme circumstances" umbrella should be reported via the forums, with no vote taking place. The situations in which a votemute or votegag would be used would not be severe enough that any vote command should be used, or so severe that they could be votebanned (earrape, Racism, Discrimination, etc) and subsequent report submitted. There is no place for a votemute/votegag command to lie. Marking as Not Planned.
