@ Currahee, quickswitching is useless since the update they fixed that exploit. Before you would cut about 0.4 of a second between shots, now there is a delay if you still decide to quik switch, making it useless.

Still works for me, quick switching just avoids the delay after you snipe. Right after you scope in and shoot, there is a pause where your guy just stands there for like a second. Switching to your pistol and back to your sniper rifle avoids that quick pause after you shoot, which is when you usually get killed.

Alternatively, you can type into the developer console, cl_autorezoom 0 to turn off autorezoom of the sniper rifle, after you shoot just right click your mouse and it will get rid of the delay, same effect as quick switching.

Quick switching won't turn you into an awesome sniper, it just helps a little for those already good at sniping to become faster. Key is to scope in, aim fast, shoot, quick switch, strafe....repeat again. Once you get it down real good, people will think you scope in super fast and will accuse you of hacking like they always do to me when I snipe.
