Haven't done anything with sigs in a loooooong time, but IIRC, they're certain brushes.

i like the halo one, but your lack of C4D is disturbing. the brushes are nice, but the filters and junk ruins some of them.

yeah he basically renders clouds or something, then uses brushes he downloaded in certain colors to make those backgrounds. Props for the creativity =)
