been at least 15 minutes since i've made a post to reactivate it, still marked as inactive, was told i should make a post here

It shows you as active now

Closing as Not a Bug. It may take some time to switch over in some cases; making a post, relogging/clearing cookies, and so on are good ways to try and get past that.
