EdgeGamers Minecraft Survival Server — Official Rules
Below are the official rules for the EdgeGamers Minecraft Survival Server. All players are expected to follow these guidelines to ensure a fair, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
1. Respect Others
• No harassment, bullying, discrimination, or hate speech.
• Be respectful in chat, builds, usernames, and interactions.
• Impersonating staff members is strictly prohibited.
• Minecraft skins must remain appropriate.
2. Griefing & Stealing
• Griefing and stealing are allowed ONLY if the player’s base is unclaimed.
• Players are responsible for who they trust on their claims.
• Protect your structures by claiming your land.
3. PvP Rules
• PvP is enabled server-wide.
• Do not spawn-camp brand-new players.
• External assistance (auto-clickers, macros, scripts, etc.) is not allowed.
4. No Cheating / Exploits
• Hacked or modified clients that provide unfair advantages (X-Ray, Kill Aura, etc.) are forbidden.
• Duping, bug abuse, or any exploit that provides an unfair advantage is prohibited.
• Use of Litematica/Schematica is not allowed.
• If unsure whether something is a glitch or exploit, contact Minecraft Leadership BEFORE using it.
5. Chat & Communication
• No spamming, excessive caps, or repeating messages.
• Follow staff instructions in chat. If you disagree with a staff decision, submit a Contact Leadership post.
• Advertising other servers/communities or personal promotion (IPs, links, etc.) is prohibited.
6. Land & Claiming
• Use the claiming system to protect your builds. Unclaimed land is not protected.
• Do not intentionally block or trap another player’s claim with your own.
• Using glitches to bypass claiming protections will result in a ban.
7. Content & Building Restrictions
• Builds may not contain hate speech or offensive symbolism.
• Keep builds reasonably appropriate.
• Redstone builds should have a functional or semi-functional purpose.
• Any build meant to lag or harm server performance will be removed.
8. Economy & Trading
• Staff cannot resolve scams. Use official trading systems:
— /trade
— /ah
• Real-world trading (exchanging items/accounts for real money) is prohibited.
9. Accounts & Alternate Accounts
• Ban evasion through alternate accounts is not allowed.
• Alternate accounts may be used for AFK farms and similar purposes.
• Abuse of alternate accounts will result in disciplinary action.
10. Moderation & Reporting
• Always follow staff instructions in-game.
• Report rule-breaking via the forums or directly to a Minecraft Administrator.
• Visit the forums for:
— Ban Appeals
— Suggestions
— Bug Reports
• If you have an issue with an admin, submit a Contact Leadership post.
