Counter-Strike Not Planned CS:S - Trouble in Terrorist Town

Was talking with a couple people last night and we collectively thought it might be a good idea to reopen the CS:S TTT server in the meantime while CS2 TTT is under construction.

I understand that it failed the first time, but maybe now that people have the taste for TTT, it could be a good idea.

I would like to know everyone's thoughts on it.

I think this would be awesome. With more people interested in TTT now, it seems worth giving the CS:S server another shot while CS2 TTT is being worked on.

Personally for me CSGO would be the better option. Especially considering CSGO is easier to download right now.

Unless the assets were lost somehow, we should still have everything we need for the CSGO TTT server from before. Plus I believe there would be a larger variety of maps as well. Even some we don't have on CS2 yet. As well as most if not all the items we had before CS2 came out.

At the very least, I think we should host weekly events on a TTT server (regardless of if it is source, go or 2). It seems a lot of the players are shared between TTT and Jailbreak, which often leads to the two competing for population. Hopefully bringing it back in source or go will spark some more interest in playing it when TTT is fixed on cs2.
