Heys guys just wanted to warn people that leave thier Xfire runing. If anyone gets alot lag and finds that they cant find the source. Its Xfire, My internet connection was just lagin like crazy. I tracked it down to something that was uploading at 300/kb.. after some trial and error, i tracked this upload to Xfire. It also had my download to that point at one time. So if your getting major lag for some reason this is one program to check for a cause to it. Thier is a simple fix to this of course. Here it is
1. Open Xfire
2. goto the tools tab
3. goto the options tab under that
4. goto the files tab under that menu
5. adjust the rate limits in that window to whatever you want.( make sure thier not on MAX like mine was)
P.S. Xfire runs just like any other P2P network or torrent. Which is what causes this to happen.
