Counter strike help,

Is there a way that when i start up counter strike that i don't have to always put in the rates in? I tried the autoexec thing but that doesn't really work. So if anyone knows how to open up CSS and has there rates put in automatically, please help me out.

The autoexec should work, did you open notepad, put the rate commands in one per line.. then put the file type to "All Files" and then saved it as "autoexec.cfg" without the quotes.

Then set the file in SteamApps/account-name/counter-strike source/cstrike/cfg.

As the name implies, the file should execute these commands each time you start the game.

I found out that it wasn't saved into a .cfg configure file, thanks for your help
