1) When I boot up my computer, occasionally the screen will black out on the Windows screen with the progress bar on it. Then it will come back to show my mouse on a black background, then disapear again until I reboot it from the tower. Other times it will go in and out, show me the login screen (using XP), then go black. Other times I will be able to log in normally. It appears to be completely random, and is not affected by what I was doing or the matter in which I shut it down. What the heck. 
2) Occasionally when I log onto CS:S, it will freeze up upon getting into a server. I'll see the motd and usually be able to hear one second of sound in the game, then that sound loops and my computer is locked up, causing me to reboot from the tower. Help?
