happens every time i join up to 3 times in a row

I have done that several times, over and over, same issue.
Although this is thrown around a lot on the Steam forums, and is a solution in a few knowledge base articles, it can have some nasty side-effects.

Happens maybe only once a week to me
Typically I have to try joining Flash 3-6 times before I stay in. Have tried deleting the 3 Steam files...doesn't do any good. I have seen some ppl try to connect maybe 3 times then not try anymore, probably going elsewhere. More than likely this is affecting the server's worldwide rank. 
I have heard rumors both, that Steam is working on it, or that older servers may not handle the Steam UserID tickets as well as newer, faster, more powerful servers do. Whatever the fix is, I hope it's resolved soon. I'm getting tired of people asking me what's causing the problem, as I don't really know.

I will joing another server that won't kick me for user id, usually one with very few people, then go into the server i want straight. Works.
