TF2 not starting

today i got to my computer, i already had steam running so just double clicked on TF2 so i could play...heres where the problem is...a Steam - Error comes up that says, "This game is currently unavailable. Please try again at another time"

So im thinking, ok maybe the game is down or something :S but i want to make sure, so i go to the EGOTF2 group and fine that i was kicked...ok thats annoying but prolly unrelated...instead i go to the Tf2 faction and click on someone whos playings name and find that they are playing TF2


Whats wrong with me/my steam/my game????


also why was i kicked from the EGOTF2 group... oops nvm i know why i was kicked, should have read the front page better :S

Have you tried restarting Steam? If that doesn't work, have you tried restarting your computer?

Yeah just restart your comp or your computer, hopefully it will work.

kk thanks, it works not after restarting my comp and leaving it for a while

Yea just try restarting your computer restart steam, if it still doesnt work you might have to reinstall tf2.

Delete, ClientRegistry.blob in mycomputer/programfiles/Steam. It forces Steam to update or you can defrag the game and verify the files. Either one may help.
