He was in the trenches
Waiting for the bombs
When a person came running
With a whole bunch of coms.

So he picked up the com
And the commander said
Go over the top
And so he lead

Oh he ran and ran
As fast as he could
When he saw men fall
But he kept running as he should

Then when he was near the German line
He got hit in the legs
He tried to get up but couldn't
So he held his tags

So he waited and waited
For the medic to come running
But he waited in vain
Losing his cunning

So his wife at home heard the doorbell
And went to the door
And they told her he died
And there was no need for more

He died on the field
That mid-fall day
He still lays there now
Until he decays

This has been a potatocannon poem reminding you all about the soldiers because we may play as them but when we die we re-spawn they don't.

Let us remember them and never forget.

There will be another next week. Hopefully a happier one.

Good man.

You ever read Dulce et decorum est by Wilfred Owen? Google it. It's got to be in the public domain.
