Missing Map

Came to connect to Stand this morning and got this error message saying the map "Dod_stand" is missing and disconnected me.
I know for sure that I had the map because I always play Strand.

Can anyone help me out a bit here?

Maybe a steam error/bug? Make sure you have the latest version of steam, then restart steam, check you have dod_strand in your map folder should be located C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\username\day of defeat source\dod\maps Or something similar. You should have inside that map folder :

dod_strand.bsp
dod_strand.res
dod_strand.ent

Make sure you have all of those, if it still does not work, you can try downloading a fresh copy of the map from here http://www.fpsbanana.com/maps/download/16085

If it continues to fail, you could email steam or check their FAQ.

i've had that happen on other servers with strand. i had to google and find a new strand.bsp file.

My steam is up to date.
Just checked map file, there was no strand, So re-downloaded it from FPSBanana.

yeah just deleted you current and download it again that should work
