Custom or Official

Just wondering what type of map you guys prefer to play on , custom made maps or offical DoD maps? Or do you not mind as long as its fun/good?

I dont really mind tbh, if its fun ill play it, the only downside i would have towards custom maps is having to download them, but if the map is enjoyable, it was well worth the wait. Anyway - Views on this?

I really just like them if they're enjoyabl, but I mostly like the maps that date back to WWII.

i used to like playing a lot on customs before but ever since finding ego a year ago i rather play official maps although some custom maps do look pretty good and should be official maps. i want valve to bring back the old dod_dog1 map from the old pre-steam days of dod.

I personaly think official maps are better, but i really do like alot of the custom maps.

Custom, only because there are just so few official maps. I get terrifically bored playing the same set of maps over and over. I never understood how many of you can play donner, ava, kalt, or whatever... for hours on end. I just get so bored.

Custom maps allow so much more variety, and the belief that they're somehow lower quality is just silly.. many of them are just as well made, if not better, than official maps. Custom maps FTW.

most custom maps arent really enjoyable at first play...you need to get used to it then they are fun....that is what makes the original better...at first glance at least...imo
