WGR614 router not sending data

Im gonna post the same message here that I posted @ netgear's site:

This whole issue started around midnite cst. I was uploading photos from my camera onto my desktop to put them on my myspace page, when our internet went down. Had to wait bout half an hr for that to come back up. When that came back up, I switched it back to my wireless router so my dads laptop could get connection. Unfortunately nothing seems to work. I found a firmware update but dont know how to update the firmware w/o directly d/l it from the site. I tried turning off the power as well as clicking the button in the back to restore the default settings, but no luck. Any ideas/ suggestions??

What do you mean by "switched it back to my wireless router" ? I would first make sure your routers works when wirred, before you even test the wire-less option. Can you connect to the router at all (meaning can you connect to the router by using a web-browser and administer it)? Is it giving out IP addresses? Can you see other computers on your local network (provided you have them in the same "workgroup or domain")?

Hook up you computer (wirred), and see if you get an IP address, if so, try to connect to the router (so you can administer its settings), and check it's status and see if it connect to the internet.

**EDIT** issue resolved, had to press reset button for 1 min to reset the settings, now all is fine.
