Just wondering....
What music, if any, do you listen to while playing CS:S.
Im a jazz man myself.

i ussualy got metal playing in the background, or im talking in vent... thats when i dont do so hot, as i cant listen for footsteps

Ya, its the same for all of us, you cant hear footsteps, its a sacrafice you gotta be willing to make.

And sometimes music does help. for example, i rush better when listening to something intense or excited.
But again, it makes you oblivious to everything around you

Still it's nice to have some music once in awhile.

country music is also another favorite, nothing like feeling the woe of the singer while killing

ya, i usually just can't sacrifice hearing footsteps for music; when i do, i usually listen to my pandora.com radio station (mostly rock)

it depends on whether i need to be passive or aggressive. metal and rock for aggressive. techno and electronica for passive

if i want to own...then i bring up itunes and listen to some sick rap or techno....if i feel like rushing like a madman and owning all the noobs then i turn on the hardcore metal and buy the para

I agree. Music is good & all but when ur playing a game that requires listening to the surrounding objects, music is a no-no. Unless you want to die, that is.

I like to listen to those gun sound songs. Like they take gun sounds from video games and make a song out of it.
