About Photoshop...

I used to use photoshop alot, but then forgot bout it after a while. Now that im interested in using it again, does anyone know how to edit the size of a wallpaper image from a bigger size (1280x1024) to a lil bit smaller size (1024x768)??

Open it then go to Image->Image size (or press ALT+CTRL+I)

new issue... i was able to resize it, but it wont let me resize it to 1024x768; it wants 2 do 1024x819. ne way i can override that?

you need to crop it... go to the left hand side and find the crop tool. next tool at the top and input the dimensions 1024x768 then crop. nexy do the same step as Jv said...it should work!

huh? i understand the rest but u confused me on that.

You probably have the pixel ratio locked - it's down below the resolution settings when you bring up the image options. Uncheck that and you should be able to set it to whatever you want

Just to clarify...

Image > Image Size

Width: 1024
Height: 768

And make sure to uncheck the "Constrain Proportions" Box, or it'll be stuck to scale.

ur rite on the button nova!! thanx 4 the help. now on jpeg options, should i leave everythin as is, or change somethin specifically?
