The confusion of years has been ironed out!
Back when I was 10 years old, an infomercial came on for an album... you guys remember when CD's and Cassettes were sold routinely on TV?. The commercial showed various music videos alongside audio from the songs, with a credits-like scrolling display of songs on the album, with the currently playing song highlighted in yellow.
One of the songs that I actually came to enjoy that I first heard on a commercial was "Our House" by Madness. However, I never remembered to look at the title scrolling by to identify the song.

However, I could never get anyone to identify the song for me so I could actually track it down (I mean, I'd say "Our House, in the middle of the street..." and people would shrug... eventually I was pointed to Madness' song, which was the correct Our House.)
Here's the funny bit. One of the things that destroyed identifying the song was the video that displayed while "Our House" was playing. I would follow it with "And there was a music video playing... it was kinda midieval! It had people dancing around a maypole, and a bazzar type background... What song has "Our House, in the middle of the street?" but is medieval themed?
It was THIRTEEN YEARS before the mysterious Medieval song was identified for me, and it wasn't the baconerds who did it!

So thank you, Safety Dancers! The unmatched scene which has haunted me these 13 years suddenly occured to me when I was comparing Our House to Safety Dance today. A 13 year mystery dissolved on All Hallows Eve? The irony is only overflowed by my thanks!

Remember, I was hearing one song, and seeing the video for another. I was watching the video for Safety Dance, with it's Ren Faire look
