To preface this, this is not criticism of one of our great sponsors, D-Link, but simply some technical information I'm passing on.
For those of you that might not know, D-link is including a new feature in some of its automatic firmware updates (I.E., those that you can do directly from your router interface) that do DNS redirection as a preventative security measure. This feature is enabled by default, and you must go in to your web interface, go to the advanced tab, and disabling 'Secure Spot'.
Additionally, you can download firmware from D-link that does not have this feature at all.
The caveat is that if you automatically upgrade your firmware, it will be turned on.
So beware if you upgrade and certain things start to go awry!
