First person look

Heya folks, I searched the forums but I was unable to find a thread regarding this, but if one already exists, sorry for the douplicate.
Anyways, I was just wondering why our dod servers do not give the option to spectate your teammates from first person view after you die?
I've been asked this a few times from various individuals in the server and would like to be able to answer their questions, as well as my own curiousity. Thanks!

Strange. when I press Ctrl after death, it brings up the bar at the bottom and when I attempt to select first person from the drop down menu at the right, it doesn't allow me to click it, and as I said, on at least three other occasions I have overheard people asking why this is on the server, but if it works for you, then it's probably client-related, so disregard.

Left click and right click the mouse buttons to move from one player to the next. The key you use to jump, which is spacebar unless you have remapped it, toggles first person, third person viewpoint. In third person moving your mouse orbits the camera around the selected player.

Yep, still no luck for me, even following those instructions.
Third person works, and when I'm spectating I can free look, but never first person

hmmm, could it be an admin related thing? is that why we can see it but these e's cant? but hoodie is an eG and cant see it....

Perhaps post in the tech help, a lot of great minds there who might know the solution to your problem
