How to remove a Graphics Card

Well with Friday coming up. I was looking at ads and found an AWESOME computer for an AWESOME price. So I wanted to take my graphics card out of the computer I am using right now and...install it into the new computer. Any ideas on how to do that?

Open case.
Locate your video card.
Remove screw holding down video card.
Grab video card and pull upward.

I'm somewhat skeptical you found an awesome computer but don't know how to remove a video card... :-? An awesome computer ain't very awesome if it doesn't come with an awesome video card... IMHO

remember to look for tabs that may hold your videocard in as well. Also make sure both computers have pci-e x16 slots if not youll have problems.

Actually make sure they have the same, whether it's agp, pci-x16, or whatever else...

btw just incase you didnt no remove your old drivers before you put in the new drivers for your new card so they screw with eachother

also, most pciex16 slots these days have little white/red/blue tabs located by the actual slot itself usually closer to the center of the mobo (not the back of the computer). MAKE SURE THAT YOU HOLD DOWN THIS TAB WHILE YOU PULL UPWARD, otherwise you might risk snapping the locking system. just a bit of friendly advice...

haha my friend didnt hold the tab and busted the enitre card somehow. it was bad lol
