Fix for the error verifying steam userid ticket

Awesome! But how come only Strand and Flash have been having the issue?
 
Its a server issue not a client issue. That will work if you get for every server you try. If its only the Flash and Strand server just gonna have to rough it out.

They are replacing the the box so I don't think we should worry.
 
This does work sometimes, actually. But after a couple times back on Flash or Strand, the issue returns. Thanks for the post though!
 
This fix seems to work the longest some have said the restarting steam works but sometimes it does not just thought I would post this for the ones that have restarted steam but still get the error.
 
This "ID" issue mostly is not a user issue (with reference to the flash server). The flash server has been looked over and determined to be at fault. eGO is in the process of replacing this server soon. I know of other “ID” issues from other servers that this possible fix mite help you out with. Speaking from my Owen experience I am not sure this will aid you with regards to logging in to flash. Rebooting seems to be the only way to help from my Owen practices. Hay you never know anything could help.

as others have said we are getting a new server box for both strand and flash due to the fact this is a server issue not a client issue...please just hold on tight and if you cant get into flash or strand just go and populate another eGO server
