I disagree. There are stupid questions. That wasn't one of them because I forget it all the time, but there are stupid questions... Example: I work as a Network Systems Engineer. Part of my job is fielding calls when our lower level technicians take time off, or are out sick. As part of this job I get calls from end-users that ask very... very.. stupid questions. Questions that they know the answer to, but they feel like calling someone because they are lonely. Questions that they use incorrect terminology in, and when I correct them they have the audacity to be upset with me for it. Like it's my fault you called a systems engineering company to pretend that you know more than you actually do... There are indeed stupid questions, much like there are stupid people. Usually stupid people ask stupid questions.

Thank you all for letting me vent. I feel better. I had to cover the service desk for a technician today.
