In my experience the cheaper cases are the better. If they're from the right companies. If I'm going to pay for an expensive case I want it to be gold plated and be made of a material that's solid but only lets cooler air into the inner area.
My reason being... if I'm going to get a case if I want to cut a hole in it... I don't want to have to worry about how much I paid for the damn thing. I mean... its not like it really matters what case you have as long as it has room and good airflow, which isn't something alot of money always has. I one of the original alienware cases... the old mass produced plastic ones that aren't branded. It's big, got GREAT airflow, and I've had it for.... 3 or 4 years and never had to pay for a new case. It's ugly... of course. But who the heck looks at their case when they're playing video games....
