Well Flash seemed left out, so...

Both

Control Hotel. Simple as that, make sure you have it, it is key, as it is used to by pass the main scrum on the streets and allows easier access to 2-story (for axis) and Axis ruins (for Allies).

Axis

Get the 2 story, it has access to Allied second, and from the windows and bottom you have a nice view of the allies moving to their second, or towards you.

Also controlling the Bar/Hole in the wall, can be useful in cutting off allied positions towards the middle, and fourth.

Pushing 4th

Gaining the other teams field is a key point in the battle, it stops reinforcements of the other team from coming up behind and taking the middle flag as you push for taking the last.

The Allied garden, is smaller, making snipers less effective, than in the axis field. If there has been a constant struggle for 2 story, Middle and allied 4th, A smart MG, will likely set somewhere into the garden looking into the 2story hallway. This is a very difficult thing to get passed and will likely cost many lives. If the Mg is far away closer to the tree, than a sniper should be dispatched to shoot the MG before he/she can respond. If the MG is closer, in the doorway, banking rifle grenades off the doorframe, and farther in should damage the MG enough that an assault can spray around the corner and likely kill the MG. If the Mg is not set up there, there will likely be one set ontop of the wall overlooking the flag itself. smoke the flag, take it run back to cover. Set an MG of your own and then attack the MG, Grenades over the wall, running sprays, sneaking through the smoke, anything that can take it out.

Allies/US Army

Gain control of Blue caf? and try to get into the axis sniper house. Both these positions cuts off snipers and MG`s from praying on your reinforcements.

Pushing 4th

Gaining the other teams field is a key point in the battle, it stops reinforcements of the other team from coming up behind and taking the middle flag as you push for taking the last.

While pushing 4th there is likely an MG set up either on the tank, or somewhere off to the side. the easiest way to remove this MG is smoking around the corner and having grenades thrown either over the bushes, or have people running into the smoke and throwing where the MG is. Or you can let a skilled sniper breach the corner and try to outshoot the MG, while having teammates covering against other snipers in the back.

lol I will add more later I r really tired

this is a good topic for discussion, if anyone disagrees with anything I say, please feel free to let me know. How do you get better if you don`t know what you are doing wrong?

This is very nice. Good job Jimmeh.

I'd like to summarize this in a few words: DON'T BE AFRAID TO GO PAST THE MIDDLE!

Especially Allies... with very cozy defensive structures on their side of the main street (e.g. hole in wall, 2 story) and people tend to just sit there. The one thing I do, is smoke the far main, nade the arch and rush the hotel... works like a charm. It seems that Allies have an offensive and defensive advantages in the hotel. So once the hotel is secured, it effectively disrupts access to main by attracting attention... so then Allies can concentrate on blue cafe and axis field.

Axis, try to get that 2 story. The trick is that usually an MG or Sniper is watching the 2 story entrance from the barn. Just smoke towards the barn and rush that 2 story... nade it first. Jimmeh nicely summarized the Allies MG positioning strategy, so just try to get a nade in there and rush it. Keeping hole in the wall constantly naded or having someone guard it helps a lot... at least it eliminates flanking of 2 story... once you've got it.

Both sides: always keep advancing.... if you see a whole bunch of opponents killed -- PUSH.

Flanking!!! That fist at the back of your head... Once I punched 3 Axis MGs that were deployed on main by rushing the hotel. :D But that's not really a strategy, that's part of having fun.

Taking the last flag is usually the funnest part! Smoke, nade, nade, smoke, nade, RUSH, RUSH, RUSH! Just try to beat that MG firing in your face... but that's a whole new discussion.

Good topic Jimmeh Flash is a great flanking map. You have the main street the entire way, and then fighting positions along the left and right. Because it's a relatively smaller map grenades become a little more effective. The main steet is perfect for laying down heavy cover with mg and sniper fire, and then some rifle grenades at the end of the street take out everyone not wanting to step into the crossfire. Moving the MGs up between reinforcements means you have a lot of potential for nice ambushes. As pavelgj pointed out, watch for a lot of the enemy to go down at once, and then move up, being a small map you can make huge leaps in just a couple of seconds by MOVING FORWARD!

You also might want to add the Flash map to your first post Jimmeh for people's reference, if you want to.

So, I had already started a Flash Strategy Discussion thread here... but anyways, we'll continue with this one :)

Added by me in the other thread:
One small trick I'd like to share. When there is an MG set up or a sniper camping under two story, go in Sniper House/Barn. From the barn they can see you too, plus you have to keep in mind second floor of two story.
From the Sniper House, however, you can go to the second window from the barn's point of view and look through a tiny opening that allows you to see the sandbags and anything behind it. This only works with a sniper or M1 though.

Added by WeaponX:
For the most part, a game will be moving back and forth between who has the middle flag. Lets say in this instance that the allies have control of the middle. Usually if this is the case, the axis 2nd flag will have a bunch of people in it, including snipers and mg's. But, the hotel, which is to the left of the middle flag, is usually somewhat open. Ive noticed that if the allies take the hotel and keep pushing from there, along with having mg's and snipers in the blue cafe, the axis will just all stay back at spawn. From there it is a mix of luck, smoke screens, random firing and more luck.

And
Lets say now that the axis have control of middle and have pushed the allies back to their second. Of your an mg or sniper, a good spot to stay is in the barn, where you can see the entrance to the second flag. Once I think I killed 23 people in a row without dying or moving from that window with sniper. Eventually people will stop rushing the 2nd flag and you and your team will be able to move up. You can't get em all though, so you'll need teammates protecting at the 2nd as well. If you can get up to the 2 story, axis don't normally look up there when rushing or just generally moving along, so you can get em from up top.

One point of contention...
you said that snipers have a harder time with allied field than axis field
imo allied field is easy to solo with a sniper rifle
but thats just me
theres less of an expanse that you have to cover in your limited scope

That can be somewhat true, but it since it is smaller, (not as long from Axis entry to allied entry) if an assualt or support class can sprint around the corner faster than you can pull the trigger you are introuble, because once they are out of your sights in that field.. your as good as dead.

nice but i just like to get a sniper and hide out picking people off one by one:D

That often proves not to be the winning tactic for your team though. On Flash I like to see snipers in the frontlines. At least one and the other one supporting the team or something of the like.

I am always sliding in and out of the streets picking off enemy snipers and MG's. A sniper who camps and just picks up kills is only good for Defence, and you can't win by defending.
