The part I loved in this match is how Jehuty, and half of his team rage quited in our turn of the first section of goldrush.

Yes, I was a little disappointed at the poor sportsmanship when my teammates left =\ but it can't be helped =d people will rage quit Xd
To be entirely honest, I think we should redo the whole thing.
For the entirety of Goldrush, we were down 3-4 people... because we started so late that it screwed with schedules. When we said so, you guys told us "go get your backups". What SHOULD have happened was the game should have been stopped while we found and brought our backups in. Instead, while you were saying "find our backups", you just continued on in the map and won with superior numbers while we were trying to find them and everyone was in disarray.
THAT's why people quit. Why bother when people act like that? The event should have been stopped and/or called when we were down by four people so it could be either ended or we could get the teams back to even terms. But you ignored it and claimed your "win". I don't care what you think or say, but claiming "lol we rolled them! They rage-quitted!" considering the circumstances is both a piss poor attitude and bad sportsmanship. This is something I'd expect from pubs, not our own leadership.
So no, noone won. Bad sportsmanship on both sides, and soddy communication screwed the event. I think it should be redone, but thats just me.

I was very displeased with the fact that after Deja came in from a 12 hour day of working, he was mocked. As an eGO, he should not have been treated that way, nor should an eGO level member be doing such things to other members of the clan.

This is a response to Cervani, and guys, please keep it civil, the game is over and we are all fellow eGO members again.
When Goldrush started it was 16-15 in favor of Jehuty's team. I remember this because I was wondering where MrQ was and that we were a member down.
A few minutes into the match I saw in chat that people had to go because of prior engagements and that's fine. But we did have a full list of back up players, I posted them on the site in leadership days before the event and I put a decent amount of them on my friends list on steam, I thought Jehuty would too(I guess not but that's my fault for not letting him know, I assumed he would. Never assume
).
I apologize for starting late, we were having troubles with the instant respawn time as everyone knows and we wanted to make it fair and balanced for both teams. Also, we should of stopped the event when it was 14-16 and waited for you guys to fill up those slots. But no one gave us the chance to hold when we were missing MrQ or even when ODM/Voided DC'd in the first match.
The problem is things can't be perfect, but we did the best we can and it was a good learning experience. So hopefully when and IF we do another grudge match things will run a little more smoothly.
Finally, RELAX GUYS, it was just a game. (Well) was the most fun/nerve racking match I've played in awhile, and I had 2 beers before the game started. I hope we can do it again sometime.

Both you guys need to calm down. It was all good fun and nothing personal was meant.
Yes, I am happy we won, but I am not happy about the way these posts sounded. There was problems on both sides and yes, I'll admit, things did get screwed up. However, there is no need for this.
Get your heads on straight, we were there to play and to have a good ol' fashioned grudge match, not to put anybody down or to make it personal.
