That wasn't actually his secondary weapon, it was the Demoman's special grenade, the mirv. It can still return as an unlockable, though.

bunch of cry babies... too many of you have fallen victim too many times of running through a door you KNOW is stickied....![]()
8 stickies still one hit pretty much anything, more like too many people killed because of stickies that deal 97-167 damage a pop at any range. While at medium-long range most return fire will be dealing 5-50 damage back to him.
Sniping is for snipers.
I agree with Esquire here. This update although not that huge will just encourage more sticky spam.you never really get a chance to use 8 stickies in the heat of battle, so their ability to kill any class in negligible. If anything this update is just gonna make for more campers and spammers.

I was talking about how its still a trap weapon, why should demoman have two primary direct combat weapons that can go toe to toe with anyone, at longer range than direct combat classes? They still can anyway, general direction is pretty much all you need with stickies. Your secondary rocket launcher is just a bit weaker at direct confrontation, but not by much it appears. Grenades on the other hand still do the trick.
I kinda noticed that too. according to tf2 wiki, long distance is from one sniper's deck to the other on 2fort. Which is kinda far for lobbing pipes, especially for getting direct hits.played demo after update I know theres a difference but didn't affect the game much.
