LOL, the day after I bought GTAIV for $50, it went on sale for $35... and I found out that I couldn't even get it to be playable on my piece of crap computer. Them's the breaks.

During the holiday sale, TF2 was also at 50% off. I figured 10 bucks isn't very much, and I wanted to see what the hype was about. To this day, I'm glad that I had made the purchase. I've gotten so much out of it already, and plan on playing for quite some time.

L4D only had a 10% discount on that same sale, but it was still pretty expensive so I didn't buy it yet. I just knew someday it'll go down to 50%, which it did during some weekend deal. I guess I was a little more hesitant to spend $25, so I haven't bought that game yet.

they only do it because they know more people will want to try it out with the new weapons. They used to have tf2 free weekend which was a HUGE server boost

$20? I paid $50 but they threw in a free copy of Portal and HL2 EP2. That's what I get for pre-ordering the orange box to play in the TF2 Beta.

I got the orange box for 40 dollors... ok that gave me Hl2 ep. 2, TF2, Portal, as well as Hl2 ep 1 and hl 2 that I had not owned before hand. So I made a great deal and am not mad, but I was mad when I saw L4D being sold for a much lower price then what I got it for.

I got the Orange Box not two weeks before it went 10 dollars cheaper.

Don't mind, though. I never ever got to play a Half-Life game and hell if I'm not glad I did.
