The Scout update made for a pretty fun time as an engineer. My sg ended up with 77 kills before the other team so rudely destroyed it!

A paintball gun is cool. But it'd be really hard to put that to use unless you're using it in an actual paintball game as like...a perimeter defense or guarding a capture point or something. Or perhaps you're guarding your house with it.

A paintball gun is cool. But it'd be really hard to put that to use unless you're using it in an actual paintball game as like...a perimeter defense or guarding a capture point or something. Or perhaps you're guarding your house with it.

Im thinking of getting one to keep my cat off the keyboard while i play tf2.

Don't get me wrong. I love paintball. But it's not like you'd actually be getting to USE the sentry gun. It'd do all the shooting by itself. That's no fun. I'd rather just pick the darn thing up and run around blasting people with all those rounds like a heavy gone berserk.

It's awesome, yes. But I'm going with the "Can I wield/use this?" aspect. You have to admit, just watching the gun sit there and shoot people all day will get you very bored.

I noticed this same thing, but I never got anywhere near 70 kills. My enemies were smart enough to actually use demomen from a distance (or our team [like me] was stupid enough not to defend it )

That's when you and your friends put a beer somewhere in the range of the sentry, and tell whoever can get it without getting hit can keep it. Fun stuff.
