crysis menu fade or am i overheating or somthin

When i was in the multyplayer menu in crysis, while browsing the servers, i noticed that the menu would be bright, then the it would fade and get darker and the bright green text wouldnt be so bright, then it came back to bright (slowly fading in and out) is this supposed to happen or is it my comp breaking?

Are you getting any other color distortion? If so, you may be overheating the vid card. If not, how much memory & what type do you have? Low mem can mess with graphics too.

my card was hot as always at like 90C (hd 4850) which isnt unusual for that card. and i have 4 gigs of ddr2 1066. No i wasnt getting any color distortion either, it was just the menu fading bright than dark, just barely too, so thats why im thinking it might be the menu graphics, maybe not.
