Newest video card makers efforts...

Man it always happens. I thought i was mid range with my 260 but now they have 275,280,285, and the 295.
 
The newer cards are really fast and stuff but i still see no reason to upgrade past my 8800gts 512 g92's in SLi still..

When nvidia makes a real jump like they did with the 8800gtx then illl probably upgrade, but currently the bottleneck seems to always be the cpu.. depending on resolution of course.
 
exactly firesauce. i recently upgraded my from 7600 to my current 9800 & am very happy w/ it. so i dont really see a reason to upgrade for at least 2-3 years (depending on how much the cards become).
 
I enjoy the fact that nVidia ran out of numbers and had to start over again. :)
