Headphones not working correctly

I am having a small problem with my headphones . Earlier i restarted my computer . My headphones were fine before i restarted but now one is giving sound . occasionaly a small amount of sound will ceom from the other silent one , but its just one side working . It's pluged in correctly and nothing is broken .

If it's usb, remove and reinstall it. Open device manager while its plugged in, right click it and remove it. Then plug it in a diff usb port to re-install.

What kind of headphones? 1.5mm jack or USB?

If it's 1.5mm plug them into an iPod, mp3 player or different computer and see what happens. If both work, there is an issue with your computer, if again it's only 1 side working the headphones are broken.

This happens; usually with cheaper pairs; I turned on my iPod one day and the headphones would only play out of the right ear

ipod headphones suck in my opinion. Had to replace all the ones that I had.

It's the headphones Ill just buy some non - cheap 1es from some where .
