Crashes

Well i have a problem with my game but i can still play. when i crash it says your likely out of os paged pool memory! so then i just get back in the game (does it like 6 times in a row then it works) and it works fine but white and red dot squares but i think that is cause of my video card, if any1 can help me out that would be nice :laugh:

I have to say I haven't heard anyone else have that problem before, to those specifics at least.

your basically running out of memory, what OS? what processor? how much memory? I think tech forum would help you more

1.Hold down the window key and the pause/break key in the upper right of your keyboard, it should bring you to your computer's system menu,

2.Go to the advanced tab, click on the settings for Performance,

3.Go to the advanced tab for this section, then click on the Change button for Virtual memory,

4. Change your paging file, it differs depending on how big your hard drive is, how much RAM you have, but most of the time the setting System managed size is the best way to go.

You may want to buy more RAM for your computer, which is cheap nowadays, get a better graphics card, the one I am using is currently 15 dollars online and it can run Day of Defeat Source on high.

thanks wuv that should help but right now im on my laptop (which is fine wheni play dod) so i cant do it ill do it tommaorw

laptop while playing DOD:S lol not the best way. but if you free up some memory you should be fine.

also if you can't upgrade your RAM I would suggest closing back ground programs (msn messenger, xfire, ETC.) It won't do much but it might be a little better.
