Beginer Sig/Art/Avatar Maker , tutorials please

Im using gimp and I want to start makeing sigs, sprays, and avatars.
Any advice?

Lots of a tutorials. Lots and lots of tutorials. Even if its an effect you dont want, youll see tools that you can use differently and how to use them in unique ways.

Kamikaze is right, tons of tutorials, and learn tutorials for everything, no matter how simple it is, Gimp is a pretty robust program, and I like it better then Photoshop (IMO) but it's much more difficult to use given the circumstances.

This is a pretty good sig tut, it's the one I used for my signature I made, the site is also a very helpful site, so favorite it.

i have to double click to get the tool options, hiw do i fix it so it shows up here?I pressed a button and it messed up the tool stuff:

what kinda of things do you want to learn i have a lot of experience with gimp, PhotoShop, Illustrator and InDesign. and can slap some tutorials together.

I would be pretty interested in some tutorials. I used to use Photoshop alot in my highschool years but have since then slacked off on it.

A few tutorials/tips would be a great way to get back up to speed!
