My gaming pc broke

im just using a laptop to play css lol, it does the job pretty well and its free from viruses and i give it a good clear out now and again.:glare:
 
haha im trying to game on a macbook pro in the meantime but it isnt working too well lol....well a good SLI or CF setup will be able to run almost any game above 60 fps but there are a good amount of exceptions depending on screen size, graphics settings ingame and such but a 600w as i said would not be able to power a decent SLI or CF setup........my case and PSU are coming tomorrow so YAY hopefully it fixes the problem and ill be gaming soon once again. If anything ill probably be going for an x2 card in the future maybe christmas when the 5 series cards come out i hopefully can get a 5870x2 or something like that :) or maybe a GTX sli setup like 2 gtx 260 idk all depends on pricing.


If my mobo is fried is there a high posibilty my CPU is fried also??? if it is then im probably gonna buy the i7 920 but its a bit expensive....will try to get one from a 2nd cousin. There are so many variables that could have happened for all i know everything in my computer could be toasted :facewall:
 
I play on a laptop, but i got sick of the touch pad so i got a mouse a few days ago.
 
yeah touch pads suck, ive never tried playing with one lol, i bought a mouse with my laptop, im gona go try out the touchpad on css now, i bet its hard as hell.
Does anyone have like one of them proper gaming pc's like they have on that ibuy, or is it just for looks and a waste of time?

Yeah lol i just recently bought a mouse. And i was actually gonna get one of those comps.
 
YAY ALL FIXED AND UP AND RUNNING NOW.............I have a gaming PC which cost me like 700 bucks when i first built it last year

got a high end case, mid-high vid card (will upgrade to very high end eventually as i said), have a Q6600 overclocked to 3.7 ghz, have a somewhat outdated motherboard but it does the job, only have 2gb ram(will eventually add more probably), have a decent harddrive(would like to go raid 0 by connecting another hard drive for cheap) and thats about it......its always better to build your own, sites like ibuypower are more expensive most of the time almost 90% than building it on ur own. Plus its a good experience and you learn stuff building ur own.
