What eGO's think about 2x Ati Radeon HD4770 on CF?

My comp specs:
E2200 2.2ghz @ 3ghz
2gb DDR2 800mhz
Abit IP35
nVidia 8600GT 256mb

2x HD4770 cost about ~200€

Should i buy new processor?
4 core? Q9550?

And im not gonna buy i7 now.

It would help us a lot of if you said how much you have available to upgrade your computer.

It's little bit open...

But ~200-300€

1 HD4770 costs here ~96-100€. So if i buy 2x 4770 it costs ~200€.
And 4770 is cooler than 48xx series because 40nm technology.

And: Im gonna buy 2x 1gb or 2x 2gb RAM. DDR2 800mhz.

I would suggest getting two. I looked up the benchmarks at Tweak Pc, and two of these make a great performer. In UT3 at 2560x1600 two of these score 121 fps.

Also, do you have enough PCI 2.0 x16 slots on your motherboard? And about the ram, make sure you have 4 slots if your getting another 2x1 kit.

One last thing, I would advise that you sign up for NewEgg's deal newsletter. They send great deals to you via email. You can get a Crucial Ballistix kit for $45 (down from $55), and a G.Skill kit for $58 (down from $63)

I would like to point out to all those responding that newegg.com and such do not ship to Europe and as such, are pointless.
Also, worth noting is the fact that the HD 4770 has completely sold out from Finnish tech-shops and is not to be expected back in stock for a long.. long time.

Iv'e checked your Mboard on the net and you got the x16 slot but your max speed for RAM is 800mhz, so you cant get higher.

Don't buy quad core yet , many games isnt compatible yet and you might change your computer maybe later so keep your cash and buy a i7 920 or (if heard about i5 and i3)

If the price isnt too high for you buy a i5 or i3 (no confirmation yet about those series)
