hey guys i play on a 19" screen right now 2 ms.
ms (milli seconds)

but i will go to buy a 22" or 24" but how fast do the screen need to be to run DODS CSS TF2 CALL OF DUTY and these things? is 5 ms good enough or is 2 best?

from the early stages of response time 8 or lower was good. you could get away with up to 12 with little ghosting. a lot of lcd monitors now seem to be 5 ms or 2 ms and lower. The lower the better. Monitors now you look for the size, contrast ratio and the brightness ratio for a good quality monitor.

As I understand it 5 ms will do. My monitor is 5 ms and I havn't noticed any problems with ghosting, etc. Just make sure your buying a well known brand and read the customer reviews so you know the manufacturer isn't fudging the numbers.

I have a 5 ms Monitor and it's treating me delightful, Mine is a no name brand (Envision) but its treated me good for a year +.

on guitar hero , response time higher than 15ms can be noticed , lower than that , you eyes wont do the difference.
