I am not much in to skins because some servers to not allow them. But I do like the way they look.
 
i have EVERYTHING reskinned... ammo cans, crates, weapons, players, tanks/halftracks so if you want my list just pm me otherwise to me its way to huge of a list otherwise just go through the different categories at fpsbanana and youll find everything
 
all ego dod servers allow skins so get them if the server doesnt allow them they just revert to origional models while your there
 
McMeow and myself posted a lot of skins in a tread. They're a lot of good ones in there, you should check them out.
 
i dont do skins cause i have been accused of hacking for having a sniper skin so that made me take all mine off. :) srry but they do look good
 
imd i've never used advantage skins but hell if a server didnt let me use skins i would never play there. It makes the game just that much better
 
Well, even if the server does allow skins you can get banned for them by VAC. When that ends up happening (if it happens at all) the reason will show up as tampering with your files or something to that extent. So remember there are inherent risks with skins, whether it gives you and advantage or not.

Everything about your statement is incorrect.

Skins are not VAC detected nor are against any rules set forth by Valve or Steam.

On servers that "do not allow" them you dont need to do anything. The server has sv_pure turned on which forgoes all custom files and reverts to the default. That doesnt mean they're deleted it just doesnt use them while your on that server.

So until you know about certain topics, I'd refrain from spreading incorrect information.
 
yeah i think its only Ins that does that the whole not letting you use skins that it thinks are cheats. but not sure
